The starter motor of a motorcycle usually refers to an electric starter motor. The following are the working steps of a motorcycle starter motor under normal circumstances: Make sure the motorcycle is stopped and the throttle is closed. Insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to the "ON" or "IGNITION" position. This will power the boot system. Make sure the motorcycle is in neutral (the clutch is released) or the clutch is fully pulled to the bottom (the motorcycle is in neutral and the clutch is released). Press the start button (usually located on the right handlebar of the motorcycle). This will activate the electric starter. The starter motor turns the motorcycle's crankshaft, which in turn starts the engine. Once the engine has successfully started, release the start button and allow the electric starter to stop.
